California Health and Human Services
The California Health and Human Services Agency is a state
department which directly manages and implements
health-related laws, rules, and regulations. The Governor
of the State of California and the California Legislation
enact these statutes and they are supervised by the
Secretary of California Health and Human Services Agency.
Among the departments of the Health and Human Services
Agency are:

- Child Support Services
- Emergency Medical Services Authority
- Health Care Services
- Mental Health
- Social Services
